Description

A refreshing summer drink combining zesty lemon and creamy whipped cream for a delightful twist on traditional lemonade.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 5-6 drops of pink food coloring
  • Ice cubes


Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons to yield 1 cup of lemon juice, straining out seeds and pulp.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, mix sugar with water until dissolved to create simple syrup.
  3. Combine the cooled syrup with lemon juice in a pitcher.
  4. Add pink food coloring to achieve your desired shade.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  7. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chilled lemonade until combined.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves.

Notes

For added fizz, substitute sparkling water for still water. Adjust sugar levels based on your taste preferences.
