  • 2 Gala Washington® apples
  • 2 Golden Washington® apples
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 pieces of star anise
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 bags of green tea (or lemon tea)
  • Ice, to taste
  • 1 Gala Washington® apple, for garnish
  • 1 Golden Washington® apple, for garnish
  • 4 thinly sliced lemons
  • 4 sprigs of mint

Instructions

  2. Place the quartered apples in a pot with 1.5 liters of water, the cinnamon stick, star anise, and brown sugar.
  3. Cover the pot and simmer on medium heat for 60 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture to extract all the pulp, reserving the liquid.

  10. For each glass, add more ice and garnish with lemon slices and small apple pieces.
  11. Pour the iced tea over the prepared glasses, ensuring it’s very cold.
