Description

A flavorful and tender venison steak prepared with a rich garlic and rosemary marinade, perfect for any dinner table.

Ingredients

  • Venison steaks (1-2 lbs)
  • Olive oil (2-3 tbsp)
  • Fresh rosemary (1 tbsp, chopped)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped fresh rosemary, sea salt, and black pepper in a bowl to create the marinade.
  2. Place venison steaks in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them; seal the bag and press out excess air. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Remove the steaks from the marinade and let them rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Experiment with different herbs and seasonings to customize the flavor of your venison steak. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
