Description

Indulge in Tiramisu Cookie Cups, a delightful twist on the classic tiramisu dessert, featuring creamy layers of mascarpone and coffee in a crunchy cookie cup.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of muffin tins to form cups.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let cool.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  6. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and cooled coffee until smooth.
  7. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  8. Assemble the cups by layering the coffee-chocolate filling into the cookie cups, followed by the mascarpone cream.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder and top with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

Allow the brewed coffee to cool thoroughly before incorporating it into the mascarpone to maintain consistency. Use piping bags for cleaner layers.
