Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Whisk thoroughly until the sugar dissolves.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard, smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Blend these ingredients well.
- Transfer the sauce to a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and let it cool. Store in a sealable jar or bottle in the refrigerator until ready to use.
