Comforting Swiss mushroom burgers grilled in foil for easy cooking and incredible flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 burger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Foil for wrapping
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper.
- Take a piece of foil and place a portion of the beef mixture in the center.
- Top with sliced mushrooms, onions, and a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Fold the foil into a packet, sealing the edges.
- Repeat for the remaining portions.
- Place the foil packets on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.
- Carefully open the packets and serve the burgers on buns with any additional toppings you like.
