Description

Delicious sweet chili meatballs that bring warmth and comfort, perfect for family gatherings or busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce (for cooking)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs in the Crockpot.
  5. Pour 1 cup of sweet chili sauce over the meatballs.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

For easy cleanup, consider using non-stick cooking spray in your Crockpot. Experiment with different sweet chili sauces for varying spice levels.
