Description

Delightful Strawberry Cheesecake Sweet Rolls filled with creamy filling and topped with a sweet glaze, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup strawberries, pureed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup glaze


Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, and butter until warm. Remove from heat and stir in the yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and egg. Mix well and gradually add more flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl and let it rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the cream cheese and powdered sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Swirl the pureed strawberries on top and roll the dough tightly. Cut into rolls and place them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving. Enjoy!
