A delightful and easy dessert that combines layers of strawberry filling and cream cheese with a buttery crumble topping.
Ingredients
- 1 box of vanilla or French vanilla cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1 stick of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz)
- 2 cans of strawberry pie filling (21 oz each)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix the melted butter with the cake mix until crumbly.
- Pour both cans of strawberry pie filling into the baking dish, spreading them evenly.
- Slice the cream cheese thinly and layer it over the strawberry pie filling.
- Sprinkle the crumbled cake mixture generously on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let the cake cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and experiment with different cake mix flavors.
