Description

A delightful and easy dessert that combines layers of strawberry filling and cream cheese with a buttery crumble topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla or French vanilla cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 cans of strawberry pie filling (21 oz each)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Mix the melted butter with the cake mix until crumbly.
  3. Pour both cans of strawberry pie filling into the baking dish, spreading them evenly.
  4. Slice the cream cheese thinly and layer it over the strawberry pie filling.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled cake mixture generously on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let the cake cool slightly before serving warm.
