Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the diced chicken. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For optimal texture, use day-old rice. Adjust sweetness of the sauce by increasing or decreasing honey. Add vegetables for extra crunch.
