Description

A hearty and comforting meal featuring tender steak bites, fresh broccoli, and melted cheese, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced thinly for scallops
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
  2. In another pot, steam broccoli until tender.
  3. In a separate dish, make potato scallops by layering sliced potatoes, butter, milk, and seasoning in a baking dish and baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes.
  4. Once the steak and broccoli are done, combine them and top with shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Serve the steak bites with broccoli and cheese alongside the potato scallops.

Notes

Consider marinating the steak for a couple of hours to enhance flavor. Do not overcook the broccoli for optimal texture.
