A hearty and comforting meal featuring tender steak bites, fresh broccoli, and melted cheese, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced thinly for scallops
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
- In another pot, steam broccoli until tender.
- In a separate dish, make potato scallops by layering sliced potatoes, butter, milk, and seasoning in a baking dish and baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes.
- Once the steak and broccoli are done, combine them and top with shredded cheese until melted.
- Serve the steak bites with broccoli and cheese alongside the potato scallops.
Notes
Consider marinating the steak for a couple of hours to enhance flavor. Do not overcook the broccoli for optimal texture.
