Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
- 3 medium zucchinis (about 600 g)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml)
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon sugar (5 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (8 g)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the zucchinis thoroughly.
- Use a spiralizer to cut the zucchinis into noodle-like strands.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, sriracha sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
- Add the crushed red pepper flakes and ground black pepper to the pan.
- Cook the sauce mixture for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the zucchini noodles to the pan and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Cook the noodles for 3-4 minutes, until they are tender but still crisp.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
- Transfer the zucchini noodles to a serving dish.
- Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the top before serving.
