A flavorful and vibrant Cajun seafood boil featuring shrimp, crab legs, and mussels, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs shrimp, deveined
- 1 lb crab legs
- 1 lb mussels
- 2 ears of corn, cut into halves
- 1 lb baby potatoes
- 4 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, halved
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Optional: parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Add salt and Cajun seasoning into the boiling water.
- Toss in the baby potatoes and cook for 10 minutes, allowing them to soften.
- Add the corn halves and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Introduce the shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and minced garlic to the pot.
- Squeeze the lemon juice into the pot and drop in the lemon halves as well.
- Cook until the shrimp turns pink and the mussels open up, which takes around 5-7 minutes.
- Drain the pot and serve hot. Add extra lemon and garnish with parsley if desired.
