Ingredients

  • – 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) packed cooked spaghetti squash
  • – 1 cup (240 ml) panko bread crumbs
  • – 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded alternative cheese
  • – 1 large egg


Instructions

  1. Cut the cooked spaghetti squash into small fragments so that it looks like shredded squash.
  2. In a big bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  3. Use a spoon to stir until the mixture is fully blended and moistened.
  4. Set your oven to preheat at 400°F.
  5. Cover a large baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  6. Take 1 tablespoon of the squash mixture and press it firmly between your palms several times.
  7. This will release some liquid, which helps to moisten and bind the mixture.
  8. Shape it gently into a cylindrical form, then place it on the baking sheet.
  9. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture, keeping each tot about 1/2 inch apart.
  10. You should end up with around 25 tots.
  11. Bake them for approximately 18-20 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crispy.
  12. Turn them over and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  13. Enjoy them warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
