Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
- Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough discard, all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.
- Roll the dough into small balls or bites.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
Let your sourdough discard come to room temperature before use for improved consistency. Adjust flour based on the moisture level of the discard.
