Delightful and crispy treats made from sourdough discard, sweetened with cinnamon and sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup water (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the sourdough discard, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Slowly add melted butter and water, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface.
- Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Keep leftover crisps in an airtight container to maintain their crunch. They stay fresh for several days.
