Description

Delightful and crispy treats made from sourdough discard, sweetened with cinnamon and sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sourdough discard, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Slowly add melted butter and water, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface.
  5. Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Keep leftover crisps in an airtight container to maintain their crunch. They stay fresh for several days.
