Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Mix flour, sourdough starter, sugar, milk, melted butter, and salt until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread Nutella on top.
- Fold the dough and cut it into strips.
- Twist each strip into knots and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Let the knots rise for another 15 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Uses room temperature ingredients for best results. Can be served with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
