Description

Delightful sourdough chocolate knots infused with velvety Nutella, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Nutella


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sourdough starter, sugar, milk, melted butter, and salt until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread Nutella on top.
  5. Fold the dough and cut it into strips.
  6. Twist each strip into knots and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Let the knots rise for another 15 minutes.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Uses room temperature ingredients for best results. Can be served with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
