Description

Delicious homemade sourdough butter tortillas that offer a uniquely rich flavor and comforting texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sourdough starter, flour, and salt until combined.
  2. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Gradually add water until the dough comes together.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Divide the dough into balls and let rest for 30 minutes.
