Ingredients
- 10 red potatoes (about 1 kg), cut into cubes
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (45 g)
- 200 g beef bacon bits
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable bouillon granules
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) ranch dressing mix
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) seasoned salt
- 5 teaspoon (3 ml) ground black pepper
- 720 ml water
- 240 ml milk
- 120 g shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste
- 60 ml chopped green onion, or to taste
Instructions
- Place the cubed potatoes into the base of your slow cooker. Sprinkle the flour over them and mix until they are evenly coated.
- Add the beef bacon bits, chopped red onion, minced garlic, vegetable bouillon granules, ranch dressing mix, dried parsley, seasoned salt, and ground black pepper over the potatoes.
- Add the water to the slow cooker.
- Set the slow cooker to low and let it cook for 7 to 9 hours.
- Stir in the milk and let it continue to cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Top with shredded Cheddar cheese and chopped green onion before serving.
