Description

A comforting blend of ground beef or turkey, savory vegetables, and a hearty Sloppy Joe sauce with diced potatoes, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic along with the ground beef or turkey. Cook until browned and cooked through, approximately 6-8 minutes.
  4. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper to the skillet, mixing well to combine.
  5. Fold in diced potatoes and cover the skillet. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding spices like paprika or cayenne. You can also use sweet potatoes for a twist.
