Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ lb cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips for dipping
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and combine. Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt cream cheese. Stir in sour cream and milk to create a smooth mixture. Gradually add cheddar and mozzarella cheese until fully melted.
- Fold in cooked beef and crumbled bacon into the cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer dip to a serving bowl and serve hot with tortilla chips.
Notes
For a bolder flavor, use sharp cheddar cheese. Adjust spices to preference, and consider adding fresh toppings like tomatoes or jalapenos.
