Description

A hearty and comforting one-pot meal combining pasta, seasoned ground beef, and a rich tomato sauce, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. elbow macaroni
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 28 oz. tomato sauce
  • 20 oz. diced tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Add salt and elbow macaroni, cook for about 4 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Drain the macaroni and set aside.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and diced onion.
  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  6. Add minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce; stir to combine.
  7. Pour in tomato sauce and diced tomatoes, mix thoroughly.
  8. Sprinkle in oregano, basil, rosemary, parsley, thyme, salt, black pepper, and paprika; mix well.
  9. Add the drained macaroni to the skillet, reduce heat, and stir gently to combine.
  10. Cover and let simmer for 5-10 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  11. If desired, mix in cheddar cheese to melt before serving.

Notes

Customize by substituting elbow macaroni with your favorite pasta or adding vegetables for extra nutrition.
