Description

A flavorful and hearty shrimp fried rice recipe that brings comfort and nostalgia to every family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Toss the shrimp into the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Push the shrimp to the side and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble until fully cooked.
  5. Add the mixed vegetables and cooked rice, stirring well to combine.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring until heated through and evenly coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Use day-old rice for best results. Customize with your favorite vegetables and adjust soy sauce to taste.
