Description
Delicious savory steak bites marinated in soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb stew meat (beef), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Splash Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme), chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the stew meat into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches.
- Combine the stew meat with soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated meat in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Reduce heat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the cooked steak bites on a platter, garnished with fresh herbs.
Notes
To enhance sweetness, add honey or brown sugar to the marinade. Use high-quality beef for best results.
