A comforting dish of Yukon Gold potatoes cooked slowly with Lipton Onion Soup Mix for exceptional flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold or baby potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter (can substitute with olive oil)
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth (use vegetable broth for vegetarian)
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Rinse and cut the potatoes, placing them in the slow cooker.
- Add the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, salt, and pepper on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the broth over the mixture, ensuring the potatoes are mostly submerged.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and set it to low, cooking for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
Notes
For additional flavor, consider adding carrots, celery, or herbs. If you prefer a crispier texture, broil briefly after slow cooking.
