Description

A comforting dish of Yukon Gold potatoes cooked slowly with Lipton Onion Soup Mix for exceptional flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold or baby potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter (can substitute with olive oil)
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth (use vegetable broth for vegetarian)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and cut the potatoes, placing them in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, salt, and pepper on top of the potatoes.
  3. Pour the broth over the mixture, ensuring the potatoes are mostly submerged.
  4. Place the lid on the slow cooker and set it to low, cooking for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding carrots, celery, or herbs. If you prefer a crispier texture, broil briefly after slow cooking.
