  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed (425 g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (5 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (1 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (1 g)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the drained and rinsed chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Pat them dry thoroughly with another towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. Transfer the chickpeas to a large mixing bowl.
  5. Add olive oil to the chickpeas and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Sprinkle sea salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika over the chickpeas.
  7. Stir until the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spices.
  8. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  9. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  10. Roast the chickpeas for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
