Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (60 ml)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 ml)
- 1 teaspoon mustard (5 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (1.5 g)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (1.5 g)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (3 g)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (3 g)
- Paprika, for garnish
Instructions
- Place 6 large eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, cover the saucepan and remove it from the heat.
- Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 12 minutes.
- After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water.
- Allow the eggs to cool in the ice water for at least 5 minutes.
- Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Arrange the egg whites on a serving platter.
- Mash the egg yolks with a fork until smooth.
- Add 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, and 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard to the yolks.
- Mix in 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg white halves.
- Garnish each deviled egg with a sprinkle of paprika.
- Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
