Description

A wholesome bake that reimagines traditional pizza flavors, combining creamy cottage cheese, gooey mozzarella, and colorful vegetables into a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup of pizza sauce
  • 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups of cooked pasta (like penne or rotini)
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cottage cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, mixed vegetables, cooked pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispy top, consider broiling the dish for a couple of minutes once it is fully baked. Allowing the baked dish to sit for a few minutes after removing it from the oven will make serving easier.
