Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (melted)
- Sea salt (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine butter, brown sugar, and milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until butter melts and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add oats, stirring until evenly coated. Portion onto a parchment-lined tray, flatten slightly, and create a small indentation in each cookie.
- Spoon caramel sauce into the indentation.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cookies.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Notes
Adding sea salt as a garnish enhances the flavors. Experiment with using homemade or store-bought caramel sauce.
