- 1/4 cup peach juice or syrup (from canned peaches or fresh puree)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Stir in buttermilk and peach juice until just combined.
- Fold in diced peaches gently.
- Pour batter over melted butter in an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Lightly score the dough into 9 squares.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
