Description

A simple yet delicious side dish of roasted carrots tossed with olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese that caramelizes beautifully for maximum flavor.


Ingredients

  • Fresh carrots
  • Olive oil
  • Minced garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into sticks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the carrot sticks with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Spread the carrots on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over them.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
