Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoon s (28 g) butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) dried Italian herbs
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) red pepper flakes (optional )
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Flatten chicken breasts to uniform thickness.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In another bowl, beat eggs with water.
- Place Parmesan cheese in a separate dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Dip chicken into the egg mixture, then coat with Parmesan cheese.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake chicken for 15-20 minutes.
- In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Add Italian herbs and red pepper flakes, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Spoon creamy garlic sauce over the chicken.
