Description

Learn how to make delicious Oven Baked Parmesan Cauliflower Bites that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect for a healthy snack or appetizer!


Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into florets
  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup (100g) grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  5. In a third bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  6. Dip each cauliflower floret into the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.
  7. Next, dip the floret into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s well coated.
  8. Finally, coat the floret with the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
  9. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Drizzle olive oil evenly over the cauliflower bites.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  12. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
