Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into florets
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (100g) grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper
- 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
- In a third bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.
- Next, dip the floret into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Finally, coat the floret with the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil evenly over the cauliflower bites.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
