Description

Oven-baked lamb chops are tender, juicy, and infused with garlic and fresh herbs, creating a flavorful dish perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 lamb chops
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, leaves only
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Rub the marinade generously over both sides of the lamb chops.
  4. Place the lamb chops on the prepared baking tray.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning halfway through. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving with lemon wedges.

Notes

Bring lamb chops to room temperature before cooking for even texture. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper doneness.
