Description

A nostalgic dessert that layers crunchy Oreos, creamy pudding, and rich chocolate cake for an indulgent treat.

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • Extra Oreo cookies for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the chopped Oreo cookies evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk in a medium bowl until thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour the pudding evenly over the Oreos.
  4. Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the pudding layer. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the top is set and slightly crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Top with whipped topping, mini chocolate chips, and extra Oreo cookies if desired.
