Description

Delicious and nutritious oatmeal protein cookies that are chewy, subtly sweet, and perfect for snacks or post-workout recovery.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, almond flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Flatten each cookie slightly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes
