Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, almond flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each cookie slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try incorporating nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips into the dough. Store cookies in an airtight container for freshness.
