Nutella banana bread combines ripe bananas with creamy Nutella for a deliciously moist and flavorful treat.
Ingredients
- 3 extremely ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal after baking.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter, stirring to blend.
- Mix in the eggs, Greek yogurt, and vanilla, ensuring everything integrates smoothly.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a separate bowl.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Melt the Nutella in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Drizzle half of the melted Nutella over the batter, using a knife to gently swirl it into ribbons.
- Pour the remaining batter into the pan and repeat the Nutella drizzling and swirling process.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool for 15 minutes before removing it from the loaf pan.
Notes
For extra richness, consider adding chopped walnuts or hazelnuts. Serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
