Description
A simple yet indulgent no-bake dessert featuring layers of creamy peanut butter mousse and rich chocolate ganache atop a crumbly graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Chill while preparing the mousse.
- Whisk together the peanut butter and powdered sugar in a separate bowl until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream until fully combined and fluffy.
- Spread the peanut butter mousse over the chilled crust and return to the fridge to set for about 30 minutes.
- Heat the 1/2 cup heavy cream in a saucepan until just before boiling. Pour over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Pour the ganache over the chilled peanut butter mousse layer and spread evenly.
- Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. Garnish with crushed peanuts or chocolate shavings before serving.
