A delightful imitation of a McFlurry made with simple ingredients in a Ninja Creami machine, perfect for nostalgic dessert lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons Junket vanilla ice cream mix
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup mix-in of choice (like mini M&Ms)
- Optional garnishes (additional mix-ins for topping)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl or a large liquid measuring cup, combine the milk and Junket ice cream mix. Whisk until fully dissolved.
- Add the heavy cream and stir gently until combined.
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, being careful not to exceed the max fill line.
- Secure the lid and place the container in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
- Remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid.
- Insert the container into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami and secure the lid.
- Lock the bowl apparatus into the Ninja Creami and press the Ice Cream button.
- If the ice cream appears crumbly after the cycle, return it to the machine and use the Re-spin button.
- Create a circular well in the center of the ice cream with a butter knife or wooden spoon handle, extending to the bottom of the pint.
- Add your chosen mix-in to the well and replace the pint into the machine.
- Press the Mix-in button to incorporate.
- Serve decorated with additional mix-ins, if desired.
