Description

These delightful rolls combine buttery croissants with melted mozzarella and pepperoni, creating an irresistible snack or meal perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 package croissant dough
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the croissant dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
  3. In a small bowl, set aside the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Cut the pepperoni slices in half to fit on the dough triangles.
  5. Melt the butter, then mix in garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
  6. Brush the melted butter mixture over each croissant triangle.
  7. Place pepperoni pieces at the wide end of each triangle, followed by a heaping tablespoon of mozzarella.
  8. Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling inside.
  9. Arrange the rolled croissants on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  10. Brush the remaining butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  11. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  12. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Try adding vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for a more nutritious option, or use different cheese varieties for a unique twist.
