Ingredients

  • 12 mini skewers or cocktail picks
  • 12 cubes of cheddar or gouda cheese
  • 12 slices of salami or pepperoni
  • 12 olives (green or black)
  • 12 grape tomatoes

  • Optional: honey or balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the cheese into 12 equal cubes.
  2. Prepare the salami or pepperoni by slicing it into usable portions.
  3. Take each skewer and thread the cheese cube, followed by the salami or pepperoni.
  4. Add one olive, then a grape tomato, and finish with a grape or berry.
  5. Repeat this process for all skewers until all ingredients are used.
  6. Arrange the finished skewers on a serving platter.
  7. Garnish with freshly picked basil or rosemary for a pop of color and aromatics.
  8. If desired, drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze to elevate the flavors.
  9. Serve the skewers chilled or at room temperature.
