Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Slider buns
- Lettuce and tomato for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the chicken slices in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Toast the slider buns in the skillet lightly.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of chicken, a piece of bacon, and any optional lettuce or tomato on the buns.
- Drizzle any remaining glaze over the assembled sliders. Serve warm.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken overnight if time permits.
