A delightful Italian dessert made with creamy panna cotta and infused with fresh mango puree, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mango puree
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons gelatin
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- Fresh mango slices for garnish
Instructions
- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- Combine heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Stir in mango puree until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into individual serving cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Serve chilled, garnished with fresh mango slices.
Notes
Let the panna cotta chill overnight for a firmer and more flavorful dessert. Experiment with different fruit purees for exciting variations.
