Description

A hearty and creamy pasta dish that combines the flavors of a classic bacon cheeseburger with the indulgence of Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Penne Pasta (or fusilli/rigatoni)
  • 1 cup Alfredo Sauce (homemade recommended)
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 oz Bacon (turkey bacon optional)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup Pickles (for crunch)
  • 1/2 cup Onions (for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the penne pasta to the pot and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, draining any excess fat.
  5. In the same skillet, add the bacon and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the chopped onions and sauté until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the beef and bacon mixture.
  8. Pour in the Alfredo sauce, stir to combine, and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add the chopped pickles into the mix, allowing them to warm slightly.
  10. Remove from heat and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, covering until melted.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using homemade Alfredo sauce and adjust the amount of bacon to your preference. Fresh herbs like parsley or chives can brighten the dish.
