Description

Lemon brownies combine the dense, fudgy bliss of brownies with the bright, refreshing zing of lemon, creating a delightful treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix together the melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring well.
