Description

Delicious Korean BBQ chicken skewers marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for gatherings and weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix Gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they’re well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken for more than 30 minutes, or overnight if possible. Aim for an internal temperature of 165°F to ensure safe cooking.
