A flavorful keto turkey meatloaf made with lean ground turkey and nourishing ingredients, perfect for a low-carb lifestyle.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ cup almond flour
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For glaze: sugar-free ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan or baking dish.
- Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Cool before combining with other ingredients.
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, eggs, parmesan cheese, almond flour, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooled onion and garlic, then shape the mixture into a loaf and place in the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together glaze ingredients and spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, basting with glaze during the last 15 minutes.
- Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a moisture boost, consider adding grated zucchini to the mixture or serving with low-carb sides like steamed broccoli.
