Description
Delicious keto turkey meatballs in a creamy sauce, combining savory garlic and rich Parmesan for a comforting low-carb meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
- 1 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, cut from the block
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, egg, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl. Mix until well incorporated, though the mixture will be sticky.
- Oil your hands, then roll the seasoned turkey into meatballs about the diameter of a quarter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Cook the meatballs on all sides until they achieve a golden-brown color, about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set them aside. Lower the heat to medium-low.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet, allowing them to simmer in the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven briefly for a top-browning finish.
- Remove when finished, garnish with remaining parsley and grated Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Serve over sautéed greens, cauliflower rice, or zucchini noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat gently.
