Ingredients

  • – 1 pound (454 g) beef, chopped
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) almond flour or coconut flour
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • – 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • – 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) ginger, minced
  • – 1 small onion, chopped
  • – 1 head broccoli, chopped
  • – 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • – 1 batch stir fry sauce
  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame oil
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chili sauce, optional


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the stir fry sauce, sesame oil, and chili sauce by whisking them together, then put it aside. In another bowl, gently coat the chopped beef with almond flour by mixing them lightly.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet or wok over medium heat. Cook the beef until it is mostly done. Take the beef out of the skillet.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes. Introduce the chopped onion, broccoli, and bell pepper, cooking until they’re nearly soft. Return the beef to the skillet, followed by the sauce mixture. Allow it to simmer and thicken for a few minutes before taking it off the heat and serving.
