Ingredients
- 2 cups (480 ml) shredded cheese
- 16 ounces (450 g) ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ounces (113 g) cream cheese
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350°F.
- Cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove until the vegetables are tender and the beef is fully cooked. Remove any extra fat.
- Incorporate Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and season with salt and pepper to the meat mixture in the skillet. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and mixed in.
- Arrange the shredded cheese into 8 equal circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges turn golden and the cheese becomes lacy.
- Let the cheese cool slightly, then while it’s still flexible, put a portion of the filling on each cheese circle. Carefully wrap the cheese around the filling and let it set and firm up before serving.
